The spindle guard is made up of a two-part shield that protects the operator’s hand, sleeve or glove from getting caught in the machine’s spindle or drilling tool. The guard also prevents chips or broken tool parts from being projected to the operator’s face.

The spindle guard is available in 2mm thick galvanised steel mesh or 5 mm thick PETG plate. The protection shield locks into place and opens 180 degrees by lifting from the operating knob, which makes it easy to change tools and workpieces. The guard can be equipped with a microswitch.
